Warehouse Associate

Job Description: EVS Sports / LIFT Safety is searching for new members to complement our top-notch warehouse team in Elkhorn, WI. This person will have for general Warehouse experience with an emphasis on punctuality, accuracy and dedication. An energetic person able to get along with others.

Please see the below job description/qualifications:

Pick Orders

• • • Pick order and process them by completing any required paperwork, locating items in the warehouse, moving them to the packing and shipping area
    • Make sure all orders and inventory are accurately tracked

Pack Orders

• • • Pack orders and prepare them to be shipped
    • Must inspect the items to ensure that they’re not damaged or missing any parts, package them according to specifications and transport them carefully as needed to bring them to packing stations

Ship Orders

• • • Compare picking ticket to items being shipped
    • Adjust shipping ticket accurately and back order items not being shipped
    • Use various shipping software programs; such as UPS Worldship and Fed Ex Ship Manager, to process orders
    • Must have knowledge of shipping processes, order adjustments, and order cancellations

Warehouse tasks

• • • Inventory check and count
    • Warehouse storage organization and cleaning
    • Loading & unloading trucks
    • Ability to handle/lift 50 pounds is necessary.
    • Ability to use and operate a forklift.
    • Some assembling of products.

Skills

• • • Detail-oriented problem solver who can think quantitatively and notice defects and errors quickly
    • When problems arise, must be able to act quickly and decisively
    • In order to be successful, you must have great communication skills and ability to work as a team member with a wide variety of people in the supply chain
    • Have basic mathematical abilities
    • Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills
    • Be proficient in basic computer applications
    • Be able to stand for long periods of time
    • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
